After intensive studies in fragrance formulation and production at Le Labo Fragrances in New York City, Holladay founded Apoteker Tepe in 2014.

From 2014 to 2018, Holladay served as the operational and creative director of Apoteker Tepe before moving on to new projects. In 2022, the brand was acquired by Nicholas Nilsson (founder of Pineward), a dedicated fan of the brand, with the goal of bringing Apoteker Tepe's fragrances back into production.

Working closely with Holladay, Nicholas Nilsson is pleased to once more present the Apoteker Tepe collection.
